Bob. Bob was an accountant. Being an accountant typically loads you with book smarts, thereby robbing you of social skills. Bob was no exception. He was a smart person, and was never afraid to let you know that. Multiple times, during the middle of a conversation, Bob would utter the word “understood’ in an effort to make you perfectly aware that he was in full grasp of your ideas and opinions. If he was unable to interrupt you, he would stand there with mouth agape and move his hand in a “back-up, back-up” motion until he was finally able to blurt out his keyword “UNDERSTOOD”. Bob would usually follow these conversations up with a blatant misUNDERSTANDing of the process discussed. Classic Bob!
